At Helen’s Hill Estate, our 100% family owned vineyard carefully balances traditional values and modern efficiencies to make exceptional cool climate wines.

We take the preservation of our environment very seriously and rely entirely on what falls out of the sky to irrigate our vines. We re-use all restaurant and cellar door waste waters and re-use all winery waste water. In the vineyard we rely heavily on nature and have promoted the growth of certain types of plants. The benefits are two fold; provide a source of natural fertilization to the land as well as attracting certain insects to take care of unwanted pests. Through this process of selective plantings in the mid rows we have dramatically reduce our reliance on fertilizers and sprays.

Being a family run operation it is rare not to find one of us running around the vineyard and it is even rarer to find the vineyard gates closed, so, whether it be to enjoy our food, sample our wine or simply to stretch your legs and take in the country air, you are always welcome at Helen’s Hill Estate.
