WARRABILLA VINEYARD & WINERY
No visit to North East Victoria would be complete without a trip to Warrabilla.
If what you like is unique, full bodied wine styles with lots of flavour, that are great to cellar, not widely available in retail, great value for money and wine that is exciting and different – then Warrabilla is well worth a visit.
Warrabilla produce some of the biggest full-bodied reds in Australia and are known in particular for Cabernet Sauvignon, Shiraz and Durif.
Andrew also handcrafts a small range of classic white table wine varieties such as Riesling, Marsanne and Chardonnay.
The Rutherglen Wine Region enjoys a global reputation for its fortified wines and Warrabilla is no exception stocking a small but high quality range including Vintage Ports, Archers Old Tawny Port and the superb Reserve Muscat.
Warrabilla is different from other wineries in North East Victoria because of the unique Warrabilla style of winemaking that is our signature.
Come and visit our cellar door and taste for yourself why Warrabilla has built such a formidable reputation.
“Andrew Sutherland Smith and wife Carol have built a formidable reputation for their wines, headed by the Reserve trio of Durif, Cabernet Sauvignon and Shiraz, quintessential examples of Rutherglen red wine at its best. Their vineyard has been extended with the planting of some Riesling and Zinfandel. Andrew spent 15 years with All Saints, McWilliams, Yellowglen, Fairfield and Chambers before setting up Warrabilla, and his accumulated experience shines through in the wines.”
